We watched the film "sometimes in April" and "hotel Rwanda". They are about the ethnic cleansing between Hutus and Tutsis. The film is set in rwanda. I learnt a lot from watching these films. I had never learnt about this conflict before. I was really shocked to see what happened. We had been watching "hotel Rwanda" before. Both films are based on the same thing. I liked "hotel Rwanda" better than "sometimes in April". "sometimes in April" was hard to follow at parts because it kept changing from 10 years after the conflict. This was interesting but confusing at times. I found it effective in "sometimes in April" when they showed how many deaths their had been after each day of the killings. Overall I preferred "hotel Rwanda".
